Welcome to my website! If you are on this page, you probably also love guppies and want to know more about this website, and probably about me.

I’m a guppy fanatic. I have kept guppy fish since I was 12 years old. My mom gifted me with a small half-gallon aquarium with 3 adult and 5 baby guppies. I fell in love with them instantly. I wish I could show you a photo of my first aquarium, but I don’t have one. Sorry.

I’ve created GuppyExpert to share my knowledge and experience of over 20 years about fishkeeping in general and guppies in particular. This site is dedicated mostly to beginners, but often you will see content that might be useful for fish keepers who have been in the hobby for a very long time.

Here and there, I might also talk about other species, but my main focus is on the amazing guppy fish. Why? Because guppies are my favorite fish.
